International Chief Prosecutors Establish Consulting Firm

(Washington, DC) At 10:00 a.m. on April 4, 2017, at the National Press Club, three former and current International Chief Prosecutors will announce the establishment of a consulting firm, Justice Consultancy International, LLC. The firm will provide gold standard consulting services worldwide.  The Principals of this firm are David M. Crane, Sir Desmond de Silva Q.C. and Brenda J. Hollis. The managing director of the firm is James C. Johnson. The press and the public are invited to attend.

A former Chief Prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone he has been used by the UN to investigate and report on allegations of war crimes by state forces and by the British government to head an official Review into the conduct of the UK security services. He chaired the inquiry that led to the Caesar Report. He is a member of Her Majesty's Privy Council.

Brenda J. Hollis: Chief Prosecutor of the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone and Reserve International Co-Prosecutor of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy. As Chief Prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone, she was responsible for the prosecution of the former President of Liberia, Charles Taylor; the first successful prosecution of a head of state since Nuremberg. She served in multiple capacities in the Office of the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, participating in multiple historic and precedent setting cases. She has extensive experience in investigative field missions as well as consulting experience at the international level.
